Birth Registration

Hi there, at KKH do they accept spouse passport or birth cert for birth registration ? And must it be the original ones ? Reason why I’m asking is because my husband is currently in prison, and I only have his photocopied birthcert and ori passport. I’ve been calling KKH birth registration dept but no avail. TIA !

Based on ICA website, Identification Card is part of the required documents. Since he is incarcerated, think his original passport could be accepted if you are able to provide supporting documents to prove that he is currently serving his sentence. Nevertheless, please call ICA for clarification.
