How to get Ear wax on baby's ear

My son has ear wax when we noticed his one side ear has foul odor. Anyone has ideas how to get rid of it safety for 1yr old baby 🤗 thank you

Either you do it carefully with ear wax remover or i know some doctors do it during well baby check ups.
