Scared of pain

I had natural delivery.. before epidural the contractions were painful not going to lie. but after epidural effect kicks in, then it's virtually painless, you can't even feel your legs much less any pain. There will be some discomfort and soreness down there for a few weeks but it's very mild. C sect i heard that the wound hurts more after delivery so it's really up to the individual..
