I taught my 5 year old niece how to French braid her hair and it felt so amazing when she tied it so perfectly and neatly after a few tries. Actually, she ties it better than I do now haha. If you know how a french braid is, it requires a lot of coordination when you tie your hair alone and it's no easy feat for a young child. Super proud that she ties her own hair to school now. Her mom says I am enabler when it comes to being "vain" hahhaa!

My friend was just sharing the other day that it was his proudest moment (to date) when he successfully taught his boy to shoot a hoop. For the longest time, his boy kept missing or simply rolled the ball instead of throwing it. Not sure if it counts as a parenting task, but your question reminded me of his i-am-so-proud-of-myself-and-my-boy look. ;p
