Cannot see embryo at 6 weeks

Hi all, this is my second time getting a BFP (previous time had a chemical pregnancy miscarriage).. And my happiness became shortlived when the gynae could not see the embryo within the gestational sac during the transvaginal scan. I'm at 6weeks pregnancy and will need to go back a week later for another scan. Anyone had a similar experience but went on to have a smooth sailing pregnancy? Am so worried that this will be another disappointing miscarriage :(

Hang in there mommy ❤️ Sometimes babies take their time. At my week 5 I could only see some flickering image. Doc said it's because it's too early. Suggested me for another scan in 2 weeks. Your next scan is suggested by your doc or is it your plan? If doc's suggestion then go ahead. If your plan then may be wait for 2 weeks instead of 1. Don't worry. You will have good news this time 😊

I couldn’t see anything (just the sac) during 6wk. I decided to skip two weeks and went back at 8wk and there she was, with a beating mini heart ❤️ Don’t worry and in my opinion dont rush going back for another rescan. Babies will take their own time 🙂

At 6 wks, some can be detected, some cannot cos still too small. Have faith! Think positive, alright! Just wait for your next scan and hopefully can see embryo and even hear it's heartbeat

Mine can only be seen at 10weeks :)
