Fetal Pole Smaller Than Egg Yolk

Saw my gynae ytd who said that my pregnancy looks unhealthy bcos my fetal pole is smaller than the egg yolk sac. Im at estimate 5weeks 4 days, without heartbeat yet. My embyro is measuring at 2.4mm, is that normal?

At 5 weeks, your baby is still very small. Or not even visible at this point. Heartbeat is more clearer to see week 7 onwards. That was how mine looked when i was 5 weeks. Dont know why your gynae would say it’s unhealthy.

Ya.. Im also not sure why he said. But when i googled, apparently the visibility of a large yolk sac tt is bigger than the foetus means 3x more risk for miscarriage. Gynae said its like my fetus isn't taking nutrition fr the yolk. Anyway, I'll jus hv to wait n see- thank you for your encouragement!! ♥️
