Galunggong is okay for pregnant women in moderation, based on what I learned from my OB. I ate it during my pregnancy, but lagi ko tinatanggal yung mga maliliit na tinik to avoid choking or discomfort. Also, we have to be careful sa mga possible contaminants from fish, kaya lagi ko sinisiguro na fresh and well-cooked yung galunggong. It’s rich in nutrients like protein and omega-3s, which are great for both mommy and baby.
