We recently had a UTI scare. Luckily, my 5-month-old was found negative of it. So as a measure, what can I make him eat on his 6 month that can help prevent such tract infections?
Hi, I have read a blog, from chronicles of a breastfeeding mama that her first solid given to her lo is avocado with breast milk. Being convinced by her, I am planning to do the same, due to its nutrition content. About your concern on the food to prevent such infections like uti, i haven't encountered any yet that says it could prevent uti. The main issue here is the hygiene specially if your lo is a girl, more prone to uti. That is because of poop that enters their delicate part. The cleaning should he downwards and not the other way around. And another thing is the using of diapers. We shouldn't let our lo's bum to be soaked with poo or pee.
Magbasa paMy son just turned 6 months and I observed that he loves eating avocadoes. According to http://wholesomebabyfood.momtastic.com/avocadobabyfoodrecipes.htm, avocado makes a great first food for baby due to its texture and creaminess; an extra bonus is that avocado is full or “good” fats and has a high nutrient content. Maybe you can try it to your baby. He also loves eating squash, carrots and apples. :)
