prng hindi po... Although the anomaly scan is often called a 20-week scan, you may have it any time between 18 weeks and 20 weeks plus six days. The main purpose of the scan is to check that your baby is developing normally, rather than whether you're expecting a boy or girl. However, you may want to know your baby's sex or ask for a photo of your scan. Sometimes, the sonographer can't get a good enough view to tell the sex, perhaps because of your baby's position, or if you have a lot of tummy fat. And some hospitals have a policy of not telling parents-to-be, to prevent mistakes in identifying sex from happening. Ask your midwife about your hospital's policy.
