Cold Water

Hello po mga mamsh.. Bakit po bawal po sa mga buntis ung malamig na tubig? I'm 5 weeks preggy, minsan gusto ko po tlga cold water pero nababasa ko parati dito n masama uminom malamig n tubig po. Please educate me po. TIA.
