Vacuum extractions (assisted delivery)

Hi parents! I know or heard that SGP hospital no longer uses Vacuum extractions during child birth. Is it true? Because of the injury that comes along when using one, unless in a dire situation where the doctor is left with no choice. Is it true for this?

my gynea use vacuum when I delivered but bb still didn't come out. had to use forceps in the end
