For me ksi my kids my rules. some of my styles are from my parents of course but they do not interfere with my ways and styles. my MIL often do but I strictly implement the rule "my kids my rules" . not a sign of disrespect but I just do not want to blame anyone if i happen to see misbehavior which is unavoidable for some times.
