My 4-year-old niece in Cebu speaks English, Filipino, and Bisaya. She often mixes up the three to come up with her own adorable way of saying things. It's so cute! I think it helps her communicate better because she's so comfortable in all three languages. But I think it's best to stick to at least English and Filipino at home so as not to confuse her and to prepare her for when she starts school in Manila.

My son speaks in English, but now he's starting to learn how to translate to Filipino, and he also understands a few Bicol phrases.
