Normally how you all celebrate your baby's birthday?

First birthdays are usually extra special. We had the preparations months before the event and of course, the budget allotted is much bigger. For the succeeding birthdays, we just eat out or go out of town and just bond with the family. I want to build memories as they grow older so I find it more reasonable if we spend on trips instead of just plain party.
