38 weeks with menstural cramps?!?!

Is this normal? Kaka-IE lang sakin ng OB ko yesterday and around 10 pm naramdaman ko sa may bandang puson ko is parang menstural cramps that last 1 minute lang. Is this an actual labor or its just my body preparing my body for the actual labor?
