My newborn (2mo) has a blocked nose and is finding it difficult to breath. Can I use an aspirator on him?

Yes, nasal aspirator is very efficient at removing mucus from a stuffy little nose. You can use an aspirator to suction mucus out of your baby's nose. First, make sure the aspirator is clean and dry. Squeeze the air out of the bulb, and hold the compressed bulb in your hand. Place the tip into your child's nose, and slowly loosen your grip on the bulb. Air will fill into the bulb, along with the mucus.

Yes you can! Please do. It really works and helps clear the mucus and stuffy nose

Remember to keep the room well ventilated. Steam helps too.
