I feel maid. My mother relied on maid all the 20+ years. Some stayed longer 4 yrs, some 12 yrs. maid can monitor more, u have more control or authority over the way things are done for ur LO and can do a lot more things than nanny - when go out got extra hands to help carry stuff/run after children - unless ur nanny can go along. Build a good rapport with them can life can be quite good. Since money wise might be not a lot of difference (depend on which country or experience kind u want), maid can also help do household chores, luandry, cook (home cook food can be healthier for all members of the family) n wash - freeing up the time for u to spend it w ur LO
