Folic Acid Intake

Nagtake pa po ba kayo ng folic acid after first trimester? Or continue now till now the last term?

Tuloy tuloy lang po. Actually pagdating ng 3rd trimester, pina-doble pa nga ang folic-ferrous (and calcium) intake ko.

Pareho po pala tayo ng mga iniinom ☺️ In-advise ako sa clinic to take the iron+folic (60mg/400mcg) tablet twice a day. Yung priv OB ko naman, nagprescribe ng Iberet-folic since low hemoglobin ako. Seeing that mas mataas naman yung iron/folic ng Iberet (535mg/ 800mcg), hindi ko na muna iniinom yung 2x iron+folic na tablet. Not to mention may 1000mcg folic rin sa Obimin. So I just take my 2 tablets of calcium sa morning, Iberet after lunch, and Obimin after dinner ☺️But better to ask your OB pa rin po on your checkup.
