GDM 7month preggy

Nag pa OGTT Ako ulit ngayong 7 months preggy, medyo mataas ung sugar level pero Sabi ni doc diet lang daw need. If ever po sa naka experienced ng GDM and na overcome po ito, Ano poa recommend nyo po na food and drink? As of now po sa drink Milo + milk po ko ng enfamama, pero di Naman lagi. Sky flakes fiber crackers din po snacks ko and wheat bread , okay lang po ba ito or any additional suggestions po what to eat and drink ?

hi mommy, I would recommend na iwasan lahat ng carbs like crackers and wheat bread. nung nagka GDM ako, 3 tablespoon lng ng white rice ang kinakain ko in every meal, tapos nauuna pa dun kainin ang proteins (beef, chicken o fish) at fiber (sinabawang gulay, etc). Di rin po ako Kumakain ng prutas kasi high in fructose = sugar padin. Allowed lang na fruit yung avocado and pear, or low glycemic fruits like papaya. no no po sa milk and milo. taas po sugar nyan. if worried kayo sa intake na calcium, for now yung vitamins muna na calcium with vit D3 or if need talaga milk, konte lng talaga. yung baby ko pagkalabas, 6 lbs lang, kahit GDM ako. di sha malaking baby :)

8 months po ako nung nagpa-ogtt and yung result ko po for 2nd hour is na-meet ung cut off rate, nagdiet po ako for 1 month, 2,600+ grams lang weight ni baby non and nung nanganak ako 2800+ grams lang s'ya, more on sweet potato po kinakain ko, nilaga and prito, nakakabusog naman s'ya, pero kumakain pa din ako ng rice pag lunch, then wheat bread and peanut butter sa breakfast, nakain pa ako ng sweets pero hindi naman malaki ung dinadagdag na weight, pwede mo naman kainin kahit ano wag lang talaga sosobra

Diabetic pre-pregnancy and GDM as early as 6 weeks now on my 11th week. Even before pregnancy, I steer clear from Milo and Skyflakes, parehong mataas sugar and c cause ng spikes. 2 slices of wheat bread is equivalent to 3/4 cup of rice in terms of Calories so if mag snack ka ng wheat bread, mas okay pa mag 3/4 cup ng brown rice or mixed grains at least mas matagal kang busog. You can snack on Nilagang egg, or fruits but in moderation. Unsalted nuts. Kaunting tiis kesa mag insulin ka pa

Hi, momshie! When I was pregnant, tumaas din sugar level ko but thankfully, nadaan sa diet and exercise. Nag brown rice ako and I did brisk walking every morning until I gave birth. Yung Anmum milk ko, parang twice a week ko lang ininom kasi super tamis din. If it helps, I suggest check mo rin sugar level thru glucometer para monitored.

GDM po ako simula umpisa. pinagBabawal sakin ang milo at gatas. skyflakes ang taas ng spike ng sugar ko dyan. para din kasi yan rice. substitute sa rice. more on gulay ka protein like itlog chicken breast

try mo po okra water it helps to lessen your sugar, sa milk naman may anmum lite for diabetic, no to milo kasi mataas ang sugar content nyan. Ilan pala mii ang count ng sugar mo base on your ogtt?

naku po, mataas sugar ng milo kahit sa panlasa natin hindi. pero pag chineck mo label mataas... bawas din po ng rice. basta pag may kakainin ka, icheck mo lagi label kung ilang grams ang sugar.

Sakin noon, nag brown rice ako at whole wheat bread, nagtry din ako kumain ng kamote. Bawas kain po talaga para di masyadong lumaki si baby sa loob. Inom din ng maraming tubig.

I have GDM from the start. Instead of kanin switch to sweet potato. And mas better yung anmum lite since lesser ang sugar nya.
