belly hardening

My wife has had an ectopic pregnancy amonth ago, after CT scan, she had lost the pregnancy, she was given some drugs to help clean the womb, today her belly feels hard than normal, what could be the problem?

Could it be an internal bleeding? Any discomfort? Better go to the hospital to get it check out immediately.
