My toddler's eyes don't completely close when she sleeps. I can see little white of her eye still. Is this normal?

Sleeping with eyes slightly open is a harmless condition called nocturnal lagophthalmos and is quite common in infants. You can simply stroke your baby’s eyelids close if it bothers you. You can also consult your doctor if it happened for long duration or if her eyes seem dry or irritated. By the way, the condition may be hereditary, hence, there is a possibility that you or your husband may be sleeping with your eyes opened too!
