My pregnant sister has swollen feet and she is in 3rd trimester, how can i help her?

It is common to have edema or swollen feet during pregnancy. Edema is caused due to fluid retention in the body. It can be experienced in many organs of the body. You can let your sister to try to do the following to ease the swollen: -Avoid standing for long periods. -Prop up your feet when sitting and avoid crossing your legs.-Stretch often when sitting for long periods. -Lie on your left side when sleeping. -Put maternity support stockings (that go to your waist) on before getting out of bed in the morning -Drink plenty of water.
