My LO is 8 months old and just starting to crawl around, and get his hands in everything! Is it worth getting the house professionally child proofed and does anyone have any contacts for someone who might be able to do this for me? TIA!

I would say it is the safest bet. Moreover the size can be determined based on your space available. And no matter what, just always be alert and keep your eyes and ears open!
