are u living abroad? the asparagus in India is not the kind mentioned in some sites. these are the ones that are locally grown and available there. here in India we get the hybrid ones or the ones that have been prepared for transportation. hence in the process of moving thru countries this delicate veggie loses its nutrition. what you will give is just a stick to ur baby to chew on. so instead give the local produce. Google on Indian veggies that have similar nutrition as asparagus. I'm sure there are plenty....
