How old is your baby? If she is a newborn then her skin is prone to rashes of all sorts. Fortunately, most of these rashes are harmless and go away on their own. Rashes that can appear on newborn's faces include baby acne which are sometimes thought to be caused by exposure in the womb to maternal hormones. No treatment is needed for this, just let time run its course. Baby acne can last for weeks or even months on a baby's skin. Another type could be Milia, which are little white bumps on the nose and face caused by blocked oil glands. When a baby's oil glands enlarge and open up in a few days or weeks, the white bumps disappear. If your baby is older, it could be eczema. It is caused by dry, sensitive skin, and sometimes allergies. Your doctor can determine if the rash looks like eczema and prescribe the appropriate treatment. Another type of rash could be prickly heat which is quite common in a tropical and humid country. It looks like small red bumps, mostly on areas of baby's body that tend to overheat and sweat, like the neck, diaper area, and armpits. Best to try to keep the area dry and avoid overheating by dressing baby in loose-fitting clothing. It definitely depends on how old your baby is, and not all rashes are cause for concern. Healthline has so very kindly posted an article on how to help identify whether it is a rash or if it is just acne, and some remedies: http://www.healthline.com/health/childrens-health/baby-acne-or-rash

Although relatively harmless, rashes are usually an indication of another illness. If it doesn't go away after a few days, of if it gets worse, you should call your doctor immediately; it could be something severe like SJS.

Children have sensitive skin. Make sure to see the soap and shampoo you are using- just like adults some things might not suit her skin type. try to experiment with another brand that is not as strong.

How old is your daughter @Avantika? A lot of this will depend on what kind of rash it is - can you post a picture?
