Here are some suggestions you can try: Try eating together as a family and having the same food as your toddle. When your child sees that you are having the same food, he/she will be more inclined to “copy” and join in. Be enthusiastic about the food that you are feeding him/her. When he sees how much you are enjoying the food, he/she will be more motivated to try it as well. Make mealtimes relaxed and enjoyable. Arrange lunch/dinner dates with other children. When he/she sees his/her peers eating and enjoying the food, your child will want to join in too. Involve your child. During grocery shopping, get him/her to pick out things in the supermarket. When he/she is old (and stable) enough, ask him/her to help set up the dining table. These will help promote positive eating habits, and hopefully lead to less pickiness when it comes to eating. These are just a few I’ve picked from this article; you can take a look for more ideas: http://www.babycentre.co.uk/a1008600/how-to-cope-with-feeding-a-fussy-toddler
Totally agree with Hui Qun Ng. Kids learn what is good to eat by watching what their parents eat. So you should set a good example. Also, try to avoid nagging or giving bribes just to make them eat what you serve, because most of the time, it will have the opposite effect and they will be even fussier. I found interesting tips on how to deal with fussy eaters in this site: http://www.theindusparent.com/ways-to-deal-with-a-child-who-is-a-fussy-eater Some of which suggests 1. adding more colours to your meal (kids are more enticed with colourful meals); 2. giving them a variety of options; 3. indulging kids in cooking as early as the age of 2 (this will boost their interest in food)

Eat healthy foods and show that you enjoy them as well. You have no idea how it can affect your child—we have that influence :p
food is a framework to play: show different colors, show different designs and engage the kid to play with food while eating
