My breast milk supply seems to be dwindling. I’ve been pumping religiously and taking supplements but they don’t seem to help. What else can I do?
Are you feeling stress? It could be the stress that you are feeling that is causing the temporary dip in your supply. Otherwise, eat superfoods like fenugreeks and chia seeds and drink lots of water. If all else fails, formula feed your baby instead. I am aware about the Breastmilk VS Formula milk that mothers everywhere seem to be constantly argueing about. No doubt that breastmilk provides anti-bodies that formula milk can never give but I find that the bonding and happiness that I should be sharing with my newborn outweighs the stress and guilt that I was not able to breastmilk. Cheer up Mummy! P/S: If you have been breastfeeding for some time, it is normal for your supply to dip a little as your body is adjusting to your baby's needs.
