My 8 weeks old baby has mouth ulcer from ?HFMD (coz he got fever and rashes too). He wanted to latch but he is crying everytime he does. Sometimes he suckle but most of the time he will just cry. I am syringe feeding him just to avaid dehydration. What else I can do for him? It's painful to see him like this..

My friend makes breastmilk popsicles for her 1 year old son whenever he has sorethroats or ulcers in his mouth. The cool milk will soothe his ulcers and it was easier to feed compared to a syringe. However, not too sure if a baby of 8 weeks should be eating frozen treats. It's great that you're keeping baby hydrated. Hope baby will get well soon!
