Is chinese name needed for non Chinese Dad?

Hello Mummy, I'm unsure if I should give my baby Chinese name. I'm local Chinese but husband is a non Chinese. We intended to raise kid here in SG but in confusion whether Chinese name is needed or not. PLS help.
