Pram vs Carrier for newborn

Hi mummies, Wanted to check if it is necessary to get both a carrier and a pram if you have a car please? Was wondering which I’m more likely to use, or if both are equally useful/important to get.

If you have a car, stroller with car seat. Carrier can use when baby is slightly older, maybe 2-3 months old. I would say get both! Carrier is good for short or nearby malls or walks, strollers is good for long duration outings. I don’t have a car so I depend on my carrier a lot as I don’t want to push my stroller around to take public transports alone.
