Breastmilk

Hi mummies, I am trying to stop my production of breastmilk by pumping less etc. Howver it has been a week and I still do have alot of it. How long does it takes for our breast milk to dry up?

It took me about 4 months… my breast milk was dipping when my son was 8 months but took 4 months for it to stop. I wouldn’t say it has completely dried up because when I squeeze my nips still have droplets
