Breast pump parts fridge hack

Hello mummies, Heard about fridge hack for breast pump parts where you’ll keep the pump parts in a zip lock and place them in the fridge, and only wash and sterilise them at the end of the day. So, do i need to rinse off the residue before keeping or no need? Or rinse with water before my next use? TIA!

No need rinse off residue or use water wash. just leave it as it is and dump inside ziplock bag put in fridge. it’s just breastmilk residue which is not dirt. The more you introduce other elements like water or other contaminants the less effective this hack will work.

no rinse..I hVe used the hack before but mine is secondhand pump so the parts tend to drop off during pumping for 2nd time. especially the yellow parts like the backflow preventer
