Old wives tale - baby dust

Hi mummies, wonder if anyone heard of sending baby dust through giving unused sanitary pad for anyone who wishes to have baby? Upon giving the pad, should she keep it or use it ? TIA

I received 2 from a pregnant acquaintance. 1 under my pillow and another one in my bag. Pregnant next month after trying for 1 year . Maybe coincidence?
