For mummies under KKH subsidised route, I would like to know if you have requested for hospital leave to rest before you give birth? Are the gynaes/doctors under subsidised route willing to give? Or does it depend on the gynae/doctor themselves?
During my 20 week appointment I tried asking whether it’s possible to take HL before I give birth, but the doctor at that time told me to use my maternity leave instead.
If possible I would like to save my maternity leave for AFTER the birth instead as I feel that every day and minute is very precious after my boy comes out.
Appreciate any advices in advance!
