No intention to breastfeed from birth will still get engorgement ?

Hi mummies that formula fed their baby right from birth and no intention to breastfeed or pump, did you still have engorgement? Do i need to straightaway ask gynae for medication to stop milk production or it wont engorge or produce milk if i dont stimulate nipple ?
