I was given progesterone to support during my early pregnancy (for my both pregnancies). But mine was assisted pregnancy. Not sure how it works for natural pregnancies. Nevertheless, sorry that you met 2 gynaes who doesn't seem to be empathic

Go for a second option if u feel uncomfortable. I was spotting at week 5 and gynae given me duphaston to be taken 2 pills once daily. Then I was bleeding at week 6 he increased dosage to 2 pills 3 times daily n put me on 4 weeks bed rest.

I seem to have no luck with doctors. Both doctors basically behave the exact same way. “You’re just a statistic. Miscarriages are not uncommon, it just means it’s not meant to be.” When I asked about possibility of recurrent miscarriage and if my husband and I should get a fertility assessment, the response is “um, don’t get too invested in a pregnancy. We can attribute three miscarriages to pure bad luck then see what you wanna do after that”. I cannot imagine why I keep encountering such jerks!

Usually they will be ok to give progesterone. Might need to visit new gynae asap if spotting doesn't lessen or stop. In the meantime rest more🧡

I think you should get a second opinion from another doctor. I was given Duphaston to stabilise my pregnancy after first miscarriage.

I went to DR Tan Heng Hao at alpha IVF was given a jab and duphaston maybe he can help?

Thank you. I will give him a call. :)
