Hey, I think your baby is too young to be given vitamins. I don't think he requires anything apart from breast milk. Breastmilk contains every nutrient that a child needs. For vitamin D, you can take out the baby in a pram and have stroll in the sun, preferably early mornings. I did not give any supplement to my baby till 6 months, but you can consult a PD. And if you still think that your baby is lacking in some vitamins or nutrients you must consult a paediatrician before administering any supplement. http://www.whattoexpect.com/first-year/feeding-your-baby/vitamins-and-babies.aspx http://wholesomebabyfood.momtastic.com/does-baby-need-vitamin-supplements.htm

Honestly, haven't heard of healthy babies taking supplements that young. Usually, supplements are given after 6 months because breastmilk and formula would have the essential nutrients and vitamins needed. But breastmilk does not contain enough vitamin D and iron. Vitamin D is essential for building strong bones, among other things, while iron is necessary for healthy blood cells and brain development; babies also need the mineral to prevent iron deficiency and iron deficiency anaemia.

Hi, I think you may find this article useful: http://sg.theasianparent.com/are-supplements-for-babies-really-needed/ In general, the main recommendations would be for iron, vitamin D, omega 3 (DHA), vitamin B12 and probiotics. However, for a healthy, breastfed baby, it will be like what Yuna suggested, it is more likely that he/she will only require supplementation after 6 months (and only if he/she is not consuming enough).

If you are exclusively breastfeeding no need for vitamins sabi ng pedia ko. If not, then you can try nutrilin or tikitiki and ceelin for babies.

Please go as per the pediatrician's advise. He will prescribe vitamins if necessary.
