Trying to get pregnant

Hello mummies out there since im trying to conceive i had my last s.x with my husband on my 10th day cycle which already end my period on the 8th day.. so today this morning i try using the pregnancy kit and it show negetive. My next period is about to start in 5 days time. Isit still early to detect?
