Mummies my daughter is suspected HFMD but only ulcer in mouth and running nose. No fever and red spot. Doc give her 2 days MC. What can do to make her recover faster?

There's no way to recover faster but there are ways to make them feel better. Probably being in a happier state of mind will aid recovery? Anyway, if you believe in Chinese medicine you can try buying watermelon frost (or xi gua shuang) to apply on your daughter's ulcers. It helps relief the pain that ulcers can cause. Hi Mummy, It could be herpangina. for ur child ulcer, was she given medication (gel)? If yes, have u applied? My LO had ulcer 1 spots at first when see dr, appear another 2 spots next day, so i applied the gel 3times a day, and the ulcer is recovering (close to almost nothing) the next day :) Don't worry, so long there's no red spots, u can heal the ulcer with medications, etc. Perhaps, u wanna make ur child milk at cool temp? Give something cold (of course only at this period of time)....

Till now there is no specific treatment that can help them recover faster from HFMD. If she's rejecting food due to the ulcer, you might want give her soft food such as porridge which is easy for her to swallow. Ensure that she is well rested and drinking plenty of water.
