it is not going to be easy whether finding a job or putting your child in ifc so you can work full time. my 2 children went to infant care ard 3months and 2.5months old. the first time was the hardest. im so full of mum guilt to think that i'd miss seeing their first flip, first crawl, first walk because it happen in school. however to be honest, there are so many much more first time that we can experience with our children together. it's which side of the story we choose to look at. so on off work hours, i make sure we spend lots of quality bonding time together. eg bedtime stories, snuggling together, talking nonsense together, playtime, outings etc...
ive seen an aunt who stay home so many years such that now the boys are all in tertiary but it would be quite harder for her to step back into working society after so many years.
if your hubby is able to give full financial support, i dont see why you cant continue to be a sahm. or if you'd like to, maybe even explore part time work or home base business so you get to work and socialise while having flexibility to take care of your children
