Hey mummies. Im at my 38 weeks now and is a first time mummy. What do I pack in my hospital bag? *urgent* LOL thanks in advance!!
I brought portable charger, think it will be more convenient (nearer to you and less movement required). Breast pads and pads, disposable panties, going home clothes for you and your baby and comb. Toiletries and all are provided by the hospital. Personal documents required, will be listed in the hospital checklist.
Read moretbh i only pack my hosp bag when my waterbag burst the morning im abt to pop..what to bring? for me i just bring my wallet, hp and charger. since my husb is not allowed to stay over, he brought me my discharge clothes the next day ...dont need to stress abt hosp bag.

honestly. i did not pack any hosp bag. when my waterbag break at home, i took a shower and pack extra clothing, HP charger, hosp doc, identification card - wallet. thats all. i definitely do not over abd under pack.
ur clothes, bby clothing such as mittens, booties. swaddle, breast pad, disposble panties (if u are giving naturally coz u might bleed like crazy), nursing bra. and ur toiletries. jus pack what u need. hehe
If daddy is staying the night, prep some snacks too. Will come in handy Baby bum lotion! The nurses dont apply tht when they change nappies. Poo might stick on the bottom will be difficult to wipe away.
extra maternity pads, perianeal spray, disposable undies. toothbrush toothpaste hospital should have. mummy n baby can wear back the same clothes during discharge. oh maybe a pump in case supply kicks in?
Clothes / charger / portable / toothbrush / shampoo / baby clothes for discharge . Try not to bring so much stuff as if you gave birth at kkh they will give some goodie bags like baby stuff
Which hospital are you giving birth at ? Some hospital provide almost everything .. So usually nothing much to pack except your own clothings ,maternity pad, breast pump, charger and documents ..
check what your hospital provided. the extra things I brings are pump ( first few days hard to express by it), bras ( I wore on the day I checked out only) , slippers (hospital gave)...
