Candidiasis

Hello mummies. Im at 32w of pregnancy. On 17/7 i had discharge with a mixed of blood. Went to KKH, they checked and did a swab. Only today (27/8) they called me to say i have candidiasis. Whereas during the check they told me they will call me the following if theres anything. If everything clear, they wont call me. Can i even trust them now? Im worried of myself giving birth there now. Should i get the suppositories from them and start on? Isnt candidiasis will heal by itself naturally since its more than a month already? I should have started on the suppositories earlier no?

Oh wow, that is a long wait to receive such news. Are you seeing a specific gyne? I'm sorry to hear of this. I had my 2nd child delivered in kkh. I wanted the same gyne to attend to me from the beginning till the end. Everything went well and smooth. If you are not seeing a specific gyne, you may consider to do so. If you already have, i suggest you let them know that this is not a pleasant experience and they should be more vigilant with cases as such. Especially KKH is known to specialise in woman and children. Nevertheless, i sincerely hope you are recovering well. Pls take care.
