formula milk

Hi mummies! Do I need to buy 1 tin of formula milk as stand by before my delivery? If yes kindly advise which brand is good for infant? Not to sure if I will have sufficient BM by then and if not, i wouldn't want to be running to shop to buy.

I had the same qns as you before delivery. I chose not to buy too, as I'd prefer to check with the PD on his/her recommendation (in the event FM is really needed). Furthermore, if need be, I can also seek my husband's help to buy a tin upon discharge or before our discharge too.

Actually no need first cause if during ward stay not enough milk nurse will ask you whether to top up formula and they have it in nursery. So after discharge then check with them milk brand. As to see baby suitable before buying

Actually no need to standby, nursery got different brands of formula milk for u to choose. Else u can always get from the hospital pharmacy.

I bought a small tin of karihome goat milk as spare. Give myself a peace mind and less stress during bf.

Super Mum

You can do so if you are worried. Similac is good.
