Mummies, how do you deal with stomach flu and mild diarrhoea for infant? Besides giving medicine and doc suggested to drink isomil, is there anything to do to reduce the stomach flu? The passing of motion is frequent abt 5 to 9 diapers daily, not watery, she is eating porridge just moderate. Even by giving medicine, drinking isomil milk and eating porridge there will be a passing of motion.

My baby was admitted at 3months old due to severe diarrhea and dehydrated. Doctor prescribed probiotic to promoted good bacteria in the stomach. Ever since then, I have been feeding him probiotics every week. So far, no issue with stomach flu depending on individual babies.

How old is your bub? My boy had stomach flu at about 7months old. Pretty similar to you. Nothing much can be done except to let it run its course. Diluted milk.

@kasmah wati, it is not necessary to change to isomil. Isomil is given as the child is lactose intolerance. Thus the need to be on soy based milk.
