Just to share i had double readings. Like 12.2 i one hour and 11.7 in two hours. However, i was not started on medication. I was immediately referred to specialist (i m in pte clinic). Initially the monitoring was every day before and after meals. Eventually i get to cut to 4 readings per day (before breakfast, after breakfast, after lunch and after dinner). as long as the control is there, it wun b so bad

i have similar results.. the ODAC will contact you.. she will explain you need to purchase a glucometer to monitor your blood glucose on 2 consecutive days per week, twice.. you will need to do 7 readings on each day.. she will explain to you in details.. once you have the datas, u will show to your doctor on the next appt.. they will decide if you need to continue monitoring your diet or put you on medication

Yes. Any of e readings fail n borderline fail is also a fail. But not so bad for u, u probably just need diet control for now. I have friends with double digits reading, straightaway need to take medication.
