Baby refuse pram

Hello mummies.. My baby is 9 months now.. Since he is getting older now I decided to put him on the pram instead of baby carrier.. but he refuses it.. he would start crying even when I attempt to sit him on it.. I have tried playing music/let him watch cartoon while sitting and pushing the pram he just doesn’t like it.. All along I have been carrying him in the carrier to and fro to my MIL place every morning and evening when sending and fetching baby back.. Is he too used to being carried that’s why he refuses the pram? Are there any tips to reduce his anxiety being on the pram?
