Baby choking

Hi. Any mum experienced baby choke every time when he drink milk? Less than one month old 😢

It might be the angle of the bottle that you hold while feeding. Milk should not fully cover the whole teat, otherwise when your baby suck the milk, the amount of the milk that comes out in one suck will be too much for him, which will lead to choking. If it is not the angle, then it might be the teat flow is too fast for your baby.

Yes, normal. My baby is a mth old and he too chokes while drinking his milk in bottle or when latching. Babies breath and drink at the same time. That's what my baby's PD said. Make sure that you elevate your baby higher like in a sitting position. Then try to pull and put back the bottle every few mins so your baby can breath.
