Hi, Ms. Yayo! I have a 12 year old cousin who is very conscious about her appearance. She's starting to have pimples. Recently, she's upset kasi she wasn't invited sa birthday party ng classmate niya and keeps on saying that maybe it is because her classmates dont like her because of her appearance. What advise po kaya can you give on how to help young kids understand why it is okay if they get left out sometimes?

I have a cousin who's very similar to yours! Her mom simply explained to her na okay lang yun. Sa mga ganung situations nya makikilala kung sino talaga ang mga true friends nya. Yung mga friends na hindi ka lang kakaibiganin dahil gwapo o maganda ka. Also, it's part of growing up. It will last din naman.
