Is it more expensive to raise sons or daughters?

Personally, I believe girls are more expensive to raise compared to boys. Just thinking all of the clothes, accessories and supplies my parents have bought us, I think they've really spent quite a lot. I always tell myself, sometimes I'm lucky to have a boy, because I don't get to splurge on shopping for him. :D It seems like there are really a lot of cute finds for girls while for boys, they come not so often.
