PACIFIER??

Hi momshies! Any thoughts about using a pacifier? FTM here and EBF plus direct latch kami. I'm planning to give my baby a pacifier kasi as a full-time mom and housewife. So, doing both medyo nahihirapan ako since si LO kasi is too dependent sakin. Kahit maligo hirap na ko ? so they're suggesting that I should at least give my LO a pacifier so I can move around and do other things. Pero 50/50 ako. So here are my thoughts about it: 1. (Main reason) NIPPLE CONFUSION. Baka ayawan niya na nipple ko. 2. (Sabi nila) kakabagin si baby ( true ba? Heheh) 3. Baka humina milk supply ko since dependent na si baby sa pacifier (weight loss will follow as well) I know there are pros and cons when giving our LO a pacifier but just wanna know if much better ba not to give my LO one? Another question, WHICH IS WHICH? Teether or pacifier? Asked my baby's pedia pala bout it, she's BF advocate pero sinasabi nya na as much as possible, wag kaya confused ako. Btw, my baby's 2mos and 12 days. No to bash please. Badly need some insights and advice. THANK YOUUUUU!! ALL YOUR INSIGHTS ARE HIGHLY APPRECIATED ? P.s did a little research about it. Still, confused pa din ako ? EDIT: How about giving this gum massager or teether? #advicepls #ftm #TAP #Pacifier #RESPECT #theaasianparentph

Im a full time mom also. My son was 3 months old and breastfeeding and formula milk. At first sinubukan na agad namin siyang pagamitin ng pacifier. Iniluluwa niya, mas gusto niyang i suck yung hand niya kaysa sa pacifier. And also since I was mix feeding may mga moment na mas gusto ni baby ko na dumede sa akin kaysa yung milk niya. Try mo ipa suck yung kamay niya mismo momsh. Marami rin nagsasabi na kapag ganon mabait ang baby.
